About This Event
Experience a scenic run through Bungarribee Park with 10km, Half Marathon and Marathon options on 18 Oct 2026. Flat, sealed loops and free entry make it perfect for runners of all abilities.
Course Description
The race starts at the Rooty Hill parkrun launch point near the Bung Shelter and main carpark. Runners follow a large out‑and‑back loop that never takes you more than 1.5 km from the start. The majority of the course is on sealed concrete/bitumen paths, with two short gravel sections and a brief dirt stretch that can turn muddy after rain. Along the way you’ll enjoy open parkland, native bushland edges and occasional views of the Nepean River. The flat terrain and repeatable loops are ideal for pacing and personal bests, while the varied surface adds a touch of challenge.
