Course Description
Adventurethon Kalbarri offers a spectacular multi-stage adventure race across Western Australia's stunning coastal landscape. The Gorge Run takes you into and along the base of a Murchison River gorge, featuring an exhilarating abseil section. The Bigurda Bash Run showcases the dramatic coastal cliff tops around Kalbarri township. Mountain bike courses explore the diverse terrain around Murchison House Station, a working cattle property where you might encounter goats and cattle along the route. Paddlers navigate the majestic Murchison River, with the Ultra distance covering the stretch from Murchison House Station to Kalbarri. This multi-discipline format lets you tackle one, two, or all three events across running, cycling, and paddling.

Getting There
Kalbarri is located approximately 590km north of Perth on Western Australia's Coral Coast. The town is accessible via Indian Ocean Drive and the North West Coastal Highway. Events are based around the Kalbarri foreshore and Murchison House Station. Parking is available in Kalbarri town centre and at Murchison House Station for bike events. Arrive early to collect race packs and familiarise yourself with transition areas if competing in multiple disciplines.
