Weather & What to Pack

Late August in the East Kimberley sees warm, dry conditions with daytime temperatures typically ranging from 20-32°C. Expect clear blue skies, low humidity, and strong sunshine with minimal chance of rain during the dry season. Early morning starts will be cooler, warming significantly by midday. Sun protection is essential - wear sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. The water temperature will be pleasant for swimming. Hydration is critical across all legs, particularly the mountain bike and run sections. Bring electrolyte drinks and plan your nutrition strategy carefully.
