Course Description
The Dash & Splash duathlon takes place entirely within the Broome Recreation & Aquatic Centre. Participants choose the Short Course (2 km run on the centre’s track or paved paths, then a 200 m swim in the heated pool) or the Long Course (4 km run and a 400 m pool swim). The run sections are flat and well‑maintained, making pacing easy, while the pool provides a controlled swimming environment free of currents. The event welcomes solo athletes, duos, junior pairings and parent‑child teams, giving everyone a chance to test speed and endurance in a supportive indoor setting.
