About This Event

Run, walk or roll 15 km along the iconic Fernleigh Track from Adamstown to Belmont on 18 Oct 2026. Exclusive track closure, scenic former rail line, and a kids 1500 m race make it perfect for families and all abilities.

Course Description

The Fernleigh 15 starts at the corner of Park Avenue and Bailey Street in Adamstown, then follows the flat, paved Fernleigh Track – a former railway corridor that winds through parkland, wetlands and lakeside views. The 15 km point‑to‑point route is traffic‑free, with gentle gradients and plenty of shade. Runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes finish at the Belmont TAFE on Alick Street, just off the track. The course is renowned for its smooth surface, scenic bridges over creeks, and the feeling of racing through a natural corridor while staying completely on a dedicated path.
